The terms that apply when you request a quote, book a job, or engage Velox Glass for glazing services across Sydney.

Our services

These terms and conditions govern the glazing services provided by Velox Glass ("we", "us", "our") to customers ("you") across the Greater Sydney area. By requesting a quote, booking a job, or otherwise engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
Velox Glass provides glass repair, glass replacement, emergency glazing, and related residential, commercial and sliding door glass services across the Greater Sydney metro area.

Quotes & pricing

  • Prices may vary based on glass type, size, access difficulty, and urgency.
  • Unless stated otherwise, quoted prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.
  • We will confirm a price with you before any chargeable work begins.

Bookings & scheduling

  • Standard bookings are scheduled based on availability and confirmed by phone, email or message.
  • Emergency call-outs are prioritised for safety and security reasons and may carry a different response timeframe and price than standard bookings, which will be communicated to you at the time.
  • You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the property and the affected glass at the agreed time.

Payment

  • Payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing (for example, a deposit for custom-cut or made-to-measure glass).
  • Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking or invoicing.
  • Late payment may incur reasonable additional costs, and we reserve the right to pause future work until outstanding invoices are settled.

Cancellations & rescheduling

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, please contact us as early as possible.
  • Cancellations with insufficient notice, or where custom-cut glass has already been ordered or fabricated for your job, may incur a cancellation fee reflecting costs already incurred.

Warranties

  • We stand behind the quality of our workmanship and will detail any specific workmanship warranty period at the time of your quote or invoice.
  • Glass products themselves may carry a separate manufacturer's warranty.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, including guarantees relating to acceptable quality and fitness for purpose. Where the Australian Consumer Law applies, our liability for a failure to meet a consumer guarantee is limited, at our option, to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having the service supplied again.

Your responsibilities

  • Providing accurate information about the glass issue, property access and any site hazards.
  • Ensuring the work area is reasonably clear and safe for our glaziers to access and complete the job.
  • Advising us of any known building, strata or heritage requirements that may affect the work.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and subject to Section 6 above, Velox Glass is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from delays, glass supply issues beyond our reasonable control, or pre-existing damage to frames, fittings or surrounding structures not caused by our work.

Photos & marketing

Where we take before/after photos of a job, we will only use them publicly (for example, on our website or social media) with your consent, and will not include identifying details of your property without permission.

Intellectual property

All content on the Velox Glass website — including text, images, logos and branding — remains the property of Velox Glass and may not be reproduced without permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you engage our services will apply.
